Friday cat blogging was a very popular feature on Kevin Drum's now defunct blog Calpundit. Kevin's new blog at The Washington Monthly is great but no longer includes the kitties. Fortunately many other bloggers, including Atrios, have continued the tradition. Here's Pepper in our first installment.

My 2002 Jetta has had it's fair share of problems over the years, but at least it still runs. I know of two other '02 Jetta owners whose cars have bitten the dust. There are countless others in the same situation. Check out MyVWLemon to get an idea of how widespread this problem is.

Well, the first pre-season game for the Fish didn't exactly go swimmingly (pun intended). The offensive line was offensive, the defense gave up 500 total yards, and none of our quarterbacks are good enough to start for any other NFL team. Anyway, LoveBoatCaptain is a Bears fan, and I promised him I'd post the famous 1985 Super Bowl Shuffle video if Miami lost.
